Apple Saved my Life, and This is How
Posted by Altered Confusion on July 21, 2008
Alright so after spending a weekend of what felt like running all over the place, and all the time worrying about my 2 precious albums that went missing on my i-pod I have this to report.
First of all I got the application update, which I think everyone already knew, I’ve tried messing around with just a couple of the apps and have this to say. Please wait until you hear people talking about playing a game before purchasing it. I’ve got an app that looked freaking sweet, but does absolutely zilch on the i-pod. Well that’s not completely true I see 2 pictures and then it returns back to the main interface of the i-pod. If you want to see what the games and apps are all about try to the free ones to start you off, and let some of the dust settle before taking on a purchase. I have seen Monkey Ball in action so if you want to get that I’d say you’re in the clear to get it right now.
So I’m sure that there are people out there dying to know what ended up happening with my missing music… and for that I have to say that Apple rocks my face off. I got my albums back and I’m doing a little jig now because I get to listen to the music that I so desperately needed to hear.
That’s it for now, I’ll try to get something together that resembles a comic, and maybe a review or two of some of the games/apps that have come out for the apple touch.
*Update*
Thanks to a reader, Harvey, I am able to get my applications running on my i-pod touch. He’s suggestion was to reset the unit, to do this “just press and hold the power key and the menu key together until you see the Apple logo. After the restart your apps will run properly.”
So I’m going to have a couple of things to review now as a result.

This is a common problem that’s easily solved!
All that you need to do is hard-boot your iPod Touch or iPhone after the apps are installed. To do this, just press and hold the power key and the menu key together until you see the Apple logo. After the restart your apps will run properly.
